Scholarships
More than $23,000 is awarded annually to students studying insurance and risk
management at NMSU. The large amount of financial assistance has been made
possible by generous contributions by the insurance industry. The insurance
industry in New Mexico is encouraging young people to pursue a course of study
which will prepare them for careers in risk management and insurance. Scholarships
are awarded based upon involvement in insurance, financial need, grade point
average and involvement in university activities.
Applications must be submitted by March 15th of each year and are awarded for
