Internship Opportunities
Students are strongly encouraged to take advantage of internship
opportunities. The NMSU College of Business recognizes that students
who have work experience, in which they can relate the principles
they learned in the classroom to real world business situations,
ultimately develop a richer understanding of the world of insurance.
Internships take place in both company and agency organizations.
The majority of internships are within the State of New Mexico and
are usually for 10-week periods during the summer. Internships may
also be done during the regular semesters.
Internships help employers fill special needs and prospects, as well
as the opportunity to take a risk-free look at a potential future employee.
Students who are interested in internships should complete the Internship
Request Form and return it to Al Berryman. Employers should complete the
Internship Opportunity Registration Form.
