   A debt of gratitude is owed to Mr. Edward Lujan for his vision and steadfast
support in making the Insurance Studies program and the Insurance and Financial
Services Center a reality at NMSU.  Edward Lujan was the leading proponent for
the establishment of the Center as well as the Mountain States Insurance Group
Endowed Chair for Insurance Studies. His leadership continues to be a major
force in the success of the Center.
