Minor Requirements
The minor in Insurance is offered by the Department of Finance
and is open to students of all majors (business and non-business).
The minor includes 9 credits of foundation courses and 9 credits
of electives, which must be selected from a list of insurance related courses.
Students pursuing the insurance minor are encouraged (but not
required) to seek internships with our industry partners and may
be eligible for insurance scholarships. To register as a participant
in the insurance program please complete the Insurance Program
Registration Card and deliver it to the Department of Finance in BC
(Business Complex) building.

INSTRUCTIONS TO STUDENTS: When you have registered for your last
course for the minor complete the “REQUIREMENTS FOR A MINOR IN
INSURANCE” form and deliver it to the Department of Finance office.
